I am working as a scientific novice at Department of Mathematics, University of Zagreb. The field of my scientific interest is numerical linear algebra, and I am specially interested in
- iterative methods for solving linear systems
- fast and stable singular decomposition algorithms
- stability and accuracy of algorithms in numerical linear algebra
Important dates in my career are:
- September 1992 - started the studies of mathematics at Department of Mathematics, University of Zagreb
- September 1994 - chose courses in applied mathematics and computer science
- October 1997 - graduated as engineer of mathematics
- October 1997 - started the postgraduate studies of mathematics at Department of Mathematics, University of Zagreb
- February 1998 - started working as a scientific novice at Department of Mathematics, University of Zagreb
- December 2001 - defended my master thesis on Iterative methods for solving linear systems
- September 2002 - attended the summer school in Budapest on subject Function analysis, differential equations, numerical analysis
- June 2004 - attended the summer school in Hvar on subject Cell biology and mathematical modelling
- April 2006 - defended my doctoral thesis on Fast Methods for Large Scale Singular Value Decomposition
- November 2007 - elected for a position of assistant teacher

My family
Little Rita was born on 17. May 2007 at 21.28 o'clock. She weighed 3.170 kg and she was 49 cm long. You can take a look at Rita's pictures here.

Speleology (caving)
In my spare time I occupy myself with caving. I'm a member of Caving
Section of Mountaineering club "Željezničar" (Speleološki
odsjek Hrvatskog planinarskog društva "Željezničar") since 1991. Since than I:
- passed the exam for caver at Caving Committee of Croatian Mountaineering Union - 1997.
- had the function of librarian of the Caving Section - 1996.-97.
- had the function of head of the Caving Section - 1998.-99., 2004.
- was conducting caving school - 1998.,1999.,2001.,2003.
